Originally, from Mexico City, J Miguel Robertson grew up with many brothers, cousins, aunts and uncles who realized that he easily connected to people regardless of their age. Miguel always made his family smile, as he lit up the room when he entered. For Miguel, smiling became his trademark. In 2001, Miguel set his destination for the U.S. and settled in Dallas. 

 

Knowing he wanted to do something different, Miguel attended cosmetology school. During that time, he was inspired by making people feel good about themselves. The satisfaction of each client's face after seeing their new look, not only made his client smile, but also made Miguel realize that he was destined to become a professional hairstylist.
